Welcome to my first blog. I set up Theatre Mamusidom as an exciting venture two years ago but unfortunately, the timing was bad as Covid made its entrance into the world, necessitating lockdowns in each year. Thus, we were unable to produce any plays except for one last year, at the Fairmont Resort in Leura in the upper Blue Mountains where we are based. This year in March, we were all ready to hold a production of a beautiful, haunting play called "Orchids in the Moonlight" written by Mexico's foremost writer, Carlos Fuentes. Unfortunately, because of unforeseen circumstances two and a half weeks before opening prevented it from going on. Undeterred, we are carrying on, starting from scratch and hope to have it read for production sometime in August. However, to do this, I am seeking an experienced male actor 35+ as this role is not yet filled.
